Making Proud Choices Program

Evidenced based, safer sex approach to teen pregnancy and HIV/STI prevention. Sex education programming to middle school students (age 12+).

Overview:

Making Proud Choices is an evidenced based, safer sex approach to teen pregnancy and HIV/STI prevention. This program is designed to give adolescents the tools they need to reduce their risk of unintended pregnancy, HIV, and other STIs by providing them with factual information and skills to adopt less risky behaviors.

Funding Source:

Making Proud Choices is provided at no cost to adolescents because of the Taking Pride in Prevention (TPIP) Grant. It is made possible by grant number 2401MIPREP from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families.

Audience/Format:

Making Proud Choices at the Bath Township Public Library provides sex education programming to middle school students (age 12+). Parent permission is required. Students attending at least 6 of the 7 sessions will get a $50 Amazon gift card.
