Director's Message

The Bath Township Public Library is happy to announce the appointment of our new Library Director, Sarah Rick. The appointment was made by the Library Board of Trustees, and Sarah will be joining us right after the Labor Day holiday.  Her starting day is Tuesday, September 3 - please plan to stop by to meet her!
Sarah is coming to us from the Millington Arbela District Library where she’s been the director for almost four years.  She earned her bachelor’s degree at Aquinas College in Art, Business, and French, and her master’s degree in library & information science at the University of Hawaii.  She has been involved in the Michigan Library Association’s Professional Development & Networking Committee as well as starting a variety of fun new programs in Millington.
Working in Bath is a little bit like coming home, since Sarah grew up in the DeWitt area.  Look for upcoming information on welcome events.
