Cash or check donations can be made in person at the library or by mail using our Donation Form. Completed forms and your check can be mailed to the library at

Donation of Materials or Library Items
The library does accept Honorary or Memorial Gifts. Our collection development staff can work with you with the selection of material. Please phone us at 517.641.7111 to set up a time to discuss your gifts.
Donation of Used Books
The Friends of the Library do accept used books to be sold in their Used Book Saleroom or during their sale events. Books can be dropped off at the library. Currently, we can only accept one (1) box of books at a time. We are unable to accept textbooks, magazines, or any damaged items. Please do not drop off donations in either dropbox - we have no way to determine if it is a donation or someone's personal item.
